Requested Pictures

This is an unusual species that is not normally found in California, and has not been seen for years.

Many cleaner shrimp climbing on and around the eel, eating the dead skin and parasites on the eel,

Usually found buried in the sand

Frozen fish hanging off the anchor chain

The juveniles have long curved tails

Home for the week we were in the Bahamas

They don't belong, but are so widespread they are in the Caribbean to stay.  Apparently they are good to eat.
